THE UKCAT

Tips and Tricks for Mastering the Test

WHAT IS THE UKCAT?

The UK Clinical Aptitude Test (UKCAT) is used by a number of British universities to distinguish between candidates applying for medical and dental degrees. The test is designed to assess analytical skills rather than knowledge, and therefore cannot be revised-for in the traditional sense. Preparation in a different sense remains essential – the best advice is to do as many practice tests as possible to get used to the format and types of question asked.
